City designers have recently started using old rubber. They"re comfortable, durable, and they can be painted different colours to create a unique effect. Old tyres can also be used to make playgrounds for younger inhabitants of cities. Climbing walls, swings, seesaws, and several other parts can be made of unused rubber. There are also paths for cyclists or go-karters kerbed with wheels. This does not only guarantee safety, it also makes the spaces look much better. Finally, there are works of art made of tyres. Statures and sculptures have recently become really popular. You can also see rubber fences around older statues, which marks a boundary that should not be crossed by visitors. As you can see, rubber has become a very popular material in cityscape design. No wonder people use it in their own households, especially gardens, much more frequently nowadays.
