Most of the parents I know re afraid when they kids begin to grow. I think that they are afraid that their children would suddenly become different people. I can"t understand such attitude. When you raise your kids you should be sure that they will still respect you and be good people. Otherwise it means that you are not sure whether you have brought them up properly. That is your problem and you should change something about your attitude in my opinion. Me and my wife were really happy when our kids were becoming older. We were sure that we have raised them properly and that there is no need to be afraid that they are going to act differently. Do you know what I mean? Recently my son asked me to buy him bathroom cabinet. He told me that he is old enough to have a cabinet on his own. I have to admit that I was really happy when I have heard it. It proves that he is really acting like an adult man now and I respect him for that. That is why I have decided to buy him this bathroom cabinet. He was really happy when he received it and promised me to be a good son. This situation should show you how to cope with such "problems". There is always a chance of making everything right when you really care about it.
